Overview
The 120RMAM fuel filter/water
separator features 1/4”-18 NPTF
inlet and outlet fuel ports and a
unitized mounting bracket for
mounting versatility. It also features
an Aquabloc
®
II replacement element
that repels water and removes solid
contamination down to 2 micron. This
rugged, compact filter assembly fits a
variety of engine applications.

5.5 Fueling Your Boat
Before fuelng, check the fuel system for leaks. Check
components for weakenng, swellng, or corroson.

Turnng the fuel lne valve handle so t s perpendcular
to the valve body shuts off the supply or return. Turnng
the handle so t s n lne wth the valve body opens the
valve.
5.4 Fuel Filters (Water Separators)
The fuel suppled to the engne (and optonal genera-
tor) may contan mpurtes found n the fuel tank or from
the fuel tself. If these mpurtes are not removed pror
to startng the engnes, performance may be serously
affected. Removal of the fuel mpurtes s accomplshed
by external fuel flters.
5.4.1 Engine Filter
The engne has a separate flter located apart from the
engne (the engne assembly has a secondary fuel flter)
and s mounted on the aft cabn bunk dvder. It can be
accessed through the bunk's port drop-n (Fg. 5.5).
An authorzed servce techncan should replace the flter
annually pror to sprng launch. More frequent replace-
ments may be requred f engne/generator performance
s degraded due to contamnated fuel.

5.4.2 Generator Filter
The optonal generator also has a separate fuel flter (Fg.
5.6) apart from the generator unt (the generator assem-
bly also has a secondary fuel flter). It s located near the
engne fuel flter and s mounted on the aft cabn bunk
dvder and accessed through the bunk's port drop-n.
