he fresh and raw water systems dscussons wll con-

sst of the followng categores:

Fresh Water Tanks and Flls

Pumps

Pck-ups, Valves and Straners

Water Heater

Please  refer  to  Fgure  9.18  for  the  overall  fresh  water 

system layout.

9.1  Fresh Water Tanks and Fills

The fresh water system on your boat ncludes two water 

tanks  wth  a  40  US  gallon  (151.4L)  capacty  per  tank.  

Each tank ncludes a water fll fttng (Fg. 9.1), located on 

the port and starboard sde decks.  Both the port and star-

board tank fll fttngs are located forward of the jb slder 

track.  Also each tank has a vent fttng (see the Waste 

chapter n ths manual for detals on ventng) to allow the 

tank to “breathe”.  The port tank vent s a thru-hull fttng 

located aft of the water fll fttng.  The starboard tank vent 

s a deck fttng located on the toe-ral near the water fll 

fttng (see Boatng Safety and Underwater Gear chapters 

of ths manual for the deck hardware and thru-deck loca-

ton dagrams).

 

The fresh water tanks are located n the man salon.  The 

port tank can be accessed through the port aft settee bot-

tom panels and/or adjacent floor panes (Fg. 9.2).  The 

starboard tank can be accessed through the aft dnette 

seat bottom panels to the left of the water heater (under 

the optonal ar condtoner)  (9.3).

Ensure the potable water supply s sutable for drnk-

ng.    Not  all  potable  water  s  drnkng  water.  Check 

wth the dock master f necessary.

Open a water tank fll fttng (Fg. 9.1).

Usng the hose from the potable water supply, fll the 

tank untl water starts flowng through the vent.

Close the fll fttng.

Repeat steps 2-4 for the second tank.
