1. Press POWER to turn off the a i r pur i f i er .
2. Unplug a i r pur i f i er or d i sconnect power .
3. Press the release tabs on the rear of the
a
i r pur i f i er . Gently pull the rear gr i lle
away from the un i t and remove .
4. Remove the 2- i n-1 f i lter . To avo i d
damage to the a i r pur i f i er, do not wash
and reuse the 2- i n-1 f i lter .
5. Clean the a i r pur i f i er w i th a soft, damp
cloth .
6. Gently wash the rear gr i lle i n soapy
water .
NOTE: The gr i lle i s not d i shwasher safe .
7. Insert the 2- i n-1 f i lter i nto a i r pur i f i er . See
“ F i lter Replacement .”
8. Place the bottom tabs on the rear gr i lle
i nto the slots i n the a i r pur i f i er . Push the
top of the gr i lle forward unt i l the gr i lle
locks i nto place .
9. Plug i n a i r pur i f i er or reconnect power .
10. Press POWER to turn on the a i r pur i f i er .
Filter Replacement
NOTE: For the most eff i c i ent operat i on of
the a i r pur i f i er, under normal cond i t i ons i t i s
recommended that you replace the 2- i n-1
f i lter every year . See “ Replacement F i lters ”
i n the “ Ass i stance or Serv i ce ” sect i on .

2. Unplug a i r pur i f i er or d i sconnect power .
3. Press the release tabs on the rear of the

i r pur i f i er . Gently pull the rear gr i lle
away from the un i t and remove .
4. Remove and replace the f i lter . Install the
new 2- i n-1 f i lter i n the same d i rect i on
shown by the arrow located on the f i lter
frame . Install the new f i lter by plac i ng i t
under the tabs on the rear gr i lle . See the
“ F i lter Locat i on ” i llustrat i on .
NOTE: To avo i d damage to the a i r
pur i f i er, do not wash and reuse the f i lter .
5. Place the bottom tabs on the rear gr i lle
i nto the slots i n the a i r pur i f i er . Push the
top of the gr i lle forward unt i l the gr i lle
locks i nto place .
6. Plug i n a i r pur i f i er or reconnect power .
7. Press POWER to start the a i r pur i f i er .
TROUBLESHOOTING
First try the solutions suggested here and possibly avoid the cost of
a service call...
Air purifier will not run

Check the following:
Is the a i r pur i f i er turned on?
Is the 2 prong power cord plugged i nto a
grounded outlet?
Has a household fuse blown, or has a
c
i rcu i t breaker tr i pped? Replace the fuse
or reset the c i rcu i t breaker . If the
problem cont i nues, call an electr i c i an .
Was a regular fuse used? Use a t i me-
delay fuse or t i me-delay c i rcu i t breaker .
