Installation

Assembly

The Humboldt HM-5940 EFA requires some assembly upon arrival. The

outlet pipe section is shipped with the machine and must be attached

once the machine is positioned in the laboratory.

Each of the holes in the PVC plastic pipe flange are numbered. Use these

numbers for the bolt tightening sequence.

Water

One tap water wall-mounted outlet should be permanently connected to
an inlet water hose which is also connected to the inlet water valve. The
Humboldt HM-5940 EFA machine comes supplied with a female garden
hose fitting on the inlet water valve. The inlet hose fitting is a ¾ inch gar-
den hose connector fitting.
