Radio frequency
Do not use the lift in an environment where
other radio frequency emitting devices are
used. Like any other electronic device, the
lift can use and emit radio frequency energy.
If the lift is not used in accordance with the
instructions in the user manual, it may cause
interference with nearby devices. The manu-
facturer cannot guarantee that interference will
not occur in a particular location. In order to
check if the lift is the source of any interference,
change its location or disconnect the battery. If
you still notice or suspect a fault, please try the
following:
•
Move the lift to another location;
•
Increase the distance between devices;
• Contact the service-desk.
The lifting accessories are correctly
attached to the lift;
Make sure the lift accessories are not
damaged;
Ensure that the correct lifting acces
-
sories are being used in terms of type,
size, material and design to meet the
client's needs;
Ensure that the brakes are intact;
any missing or damaged brakes must
always be replaced;
Ensure that the clips of the sling are
correctly clipped to the hanger bar
after the sling has been fully extended,
but before the client has been actually
lifted.
Ensure the batteries are fully charged;
Always read the instruction manuals
for the lift and the lifting accessories.
Determine what you need to do be-
fore you start using the lift;
Always carry out a daily check before
using the lift;
The caregiver should always familiar-
ize himself/herself with the controls
and safety devices before attempting
to lift a client;
Only use slings that are recommended
for use with this lift.
