Diana II Comfort
General maintenance and use
This lift may only be used by qualified
personnel.
In certain circumstances, more than
one caregiver may be necessary to
assist a particular client.
This lift is for indoor use only. It is not
suitable for use in areas with high hu-
midity (e.g. shower rooms, hydrother
-
apy), extreme temperature or high
pressure environments.
Before using the lift for a client, it is
strongly recommended to practice us
-
ing the lift with colleague-caregivers,
until the caregiver feels comfortable
using the product.
The Diana II Comfort may only be used
on an even, clean and hard-floored
surfaces that are free of obstacles. The
lift should never be used on a sloping
floor or ramp.
The client’s abilities should be as
-
sessed before using this product. Only
use this product for its intended use.
The Diana II Comfort is designed to
support only one client at a time.
Never use the lift to lift a client and an
item of furniture at the same time.
A specialist must approve use of the
lift for a specific client and this must
be recorded in writing.
The correct type, size, material and
design of accessories must be carefully
selected by an expert, taking into
account the safety and needs of the
client.
Always charge batteries in a well-ven
-
tilated room. Check the charger
regularly.
Only use other Human Care products
with the Diana II Comfort.
Check the Diana II Comfort before each use to make sure it is not damaged
in any way. Do not use the Diana II Comfort if there are signs of wear and
tear or damage on any part of the lift.
