Charging the battery
If you need to charge the battery, you need to:
• Press the emergency stop button
• Connect the black charging cable that is sup-
plied to the control box
• Then insert the plug into a wall socket that is
located in a dry room.
When the rechargeable battery is connected,
the LED display on the control box will come on.
The green LED indicates that the battery char
-
ger is connected to the mains. The yellow LED
indicates the charging process. It takes approxi-
mately 5 hours to fully charge the battery.
Charging the battery with an external charger
(optional).
You can always purchase an external charger,
for example to have a spare battery to hand.
To charge the battery, it needs to be inserted in
the external charging station. Ensure that the
battery is properly inserted into the charging
station. A light will come on if it is attached
correctly.
If the battery emits a short beep, it needs to
be charged. If a green light turns on when the
battery is inserted, the battery is full. If the
orange light turns on, the battery needs to
be charged. Charging will stop automatically
when the battery is full. This means you cannot
overcharge the battery. It is best to charge the
battery every night.
The external charger can be easily mounted
by means of the wall mounting plate. It can be
mounted on the wall near a 230 V socket.
We always recommend you purchase a spare
battery/charger, so that you will always have
access to a full battery. If one battery is empty,
you can continue to work using the second
battery.
