8.1.4. BRAKES
Check that the brakes are working properly.
• Will the brakes close/open immediately after depressing the brake levers?
• Are all cables seated and securely fastened?
• The braking effect should start after depressing the brake levers by approx. 2 cm.
• When fully depressed, the levers should not touch the handlebars. Otherwise, the brakes must be adjusted by a specialist
garage.
8.1.5. SEAT
If the electric scooter is equipped with a seat, it is necessary to check its attachment. The seat must not move in any direction
on the seat tube.
8.1.6. HANDLEBARS
It must be in the axis with the seat and perpendicular to the central axis of the electric scooter. It must be firmly attached and
must not move even when more force is used. The ends of the handles must be smoothly finished, there must be no sharp edges
or protrusions anywhere on the handlebars. Loose damaged handlebars grips or attachments can cause loss of steering control
and subsequent fall. The sharp end of the handlebar grips can cause cutting injuries even in the event of a minor accident.
8.1.7. CLEANING AND WASHING
The scooter has IP54 protection (partial protection against dust, protection against splashing water from every direction). It is
possible to shower with a hose with low water pressure, we do not recommend washing the scooter with a high pressure hose!
Before washing, check that all scooter protection caps (switch box, charging connector, etc.).
We recommend washing scooters with a wet cloth or broom!
