SMART Mode Programming

TMA software is designed to remotely program RED ALERT

emergency telephones for SMART mode

operation. The telephones can be locally programmed for SMART operation but there is no advantage to
having a RED ALERT

emergency telephone set up for SMART mode without having TMA installed.

RED ALERT

emergency telephones should be programmed for standard mode operation when installed

in systems that do not have TMA installed but will have TMA operational in the future. The installed
telephones can be reprogrammed from the TMA PC upon installation of TMA.
