Parameter Panes
SP2/SVS/HUBBCOM station attributes are organized by function into expandable

on
the SP2 panels. The parameter panes are:

The

parameter pane is only applicable at the system level; this parameter
pane does not appear on any other panel (see Figure 99).
The following sections discuss each parameter pane. Except for the

parameters, the remaining parameter panes are identical on each panel, so each parameter pane is only
covered once (see the Parameter Panes section). The function of each individual station attribute is
covered in detail the SP2 Configuration Guide GTC Pub. 42004-784 (see the Reference Documentation
section).
Station Parameter Configuration and Precedence
All SP2/SVS/HUBBCOM station essential parameters are preconfigured at the
S
YSTEM
P
ROPERTIES
level
in the SP2 configuration hierarchy in the E3 Console. They appear with slightly dimmed flags to
indicate they are configured with default settings. Change the value assigned to an attribute at this level
of the hierarchy by clicking the desired field and modifying the assigned value using the method required
for the field type.
On the
G
ROUPS
,
S
TATIONS
, and
P
ROFILES
levels of the hierarchy, it is necessary to click the field label
to activate the field at that level before clicking in the field to modify the value. The configuration utility
always displays the value assigned for each attribute, with the flag illustrating the level that the parameter
is configured on.
The order of precedence from lowest to highest is SYSTEM (blue), GROUP (green), STATION (orange),
PROFILE (red):
•
GROUP parameters take precedence over SYSTEM parameters
•
STATION parameters take precedence over GROUP and SYSTEM level parameters
•
PROFILE parameters take precedence over STATION, GROUP, and SYSTEM parameters.
N
OTE
:
Audio settings affecting any station should not be implemented in the system configuration if
hardware settings have been adjusted on that station. Mutual provisioning configuration settings
overwrite configured hardware audio settings with the last applied value. Attempting to modify
one of these parameters will superimpose a red exclamation point over the field name to draw
attention to the operation of this parameter when configured in mutual provisioning.
