Cleaning the test cell
(1)
Cleaning the test cell in use
①
The test cell in use must be soaked in clean oil when not to be tested.
②
If you test different kinds of oil, the oil samples to be measured should be injected
into the test cell according to the test requirements and then drained out, repeated 2-3
times and then start to the test.
③
If the dielectric loss value of oil samples is relatively large, use oil samples to be
tested to rinse the test cell by 7 (2) method and do a test with the tested oil sample,
then test the oil sample after draining the oil out, when we test the next one. In this
way, the results are relatively accurate. If you think that the measured value is not
accurate, you can rinse again according to the above.
④
Test directly without rinsing ,if you do the measurement on the same oil sample
multiple times.
(2)
Rinsing method of dismantling the test cell
Because of insulating oil is extremely sensitive on very small pollution, it is very
important to clean the test cell before measuring the test medium. Therefore it must be in
accordance with the following methods in strict.
Method 1
:
①
Dismantle the electrode of test cell completely.
②
Wipe it with a neutral soap or detergent cleaning. The abrasive grains and grinding
action should not damage the surface of the electrode.
③
Clean the electrode with clear water several times.
④
Soak the parts with water-free alcohol.
⑤
After cleaning the electrodes, wipe the surface of the electrode parts clean with silk
fabric, and pay attention to place the parts on the clean container, and avoid its surface
contaminated with dust and moisture;
⑥
Place all the parts in an oven at a temperature between 105 and 110 deg, and dry
them.
