3.1.1.3 Installation Clearances 

Reserve sufficient space around the cabinet for operation and ventilation: 

 

Reserve a clearance of at least 800 mm from the front of the cabinets for ventilation and 
operation. 

 

Reserve a clearance of at least 500 mm from the top of the cabinets for operation. 

 

Reserve a clearance of at least 500 mm from the rear for ventilation. If the UPS will be 
operated from the rear, reserve a clearance of at least 800 mm for operations.
