Cause
The charging chip BQ24161 is specially used for U9500 for charging control. If U9500
operates properly but cannot be charged, check BQ24161 and replace it with U1901. If the
phone still fails to be charged, the circuit monitoring the battery charge level may be faulty. In
this case, replace U1301 to see whether the charging function resumes.
Figure 9-15 and Figure 9-16 shows the components, on which damage may cause the
charging failure.
