11.2 MMI Test
After powering on the handset, start the dialing program in the standby mode and press
*#*#2846579#*#*
to enter the test mode. Select
MMITEST
in the MMI test mode, and press
Volume-
to
start the MMI test. Press
Menu
to cancel current test item,
Volume-
to go to the
next test item,
Back
to return to the previous test item, and
Homepage
to go to the desktop.
Test item by item. Upon completion, the test result of each item is displayed in a list.
The tests defined for keys are as follows:
1.
Board test: If this item is passed, the next test item is displayed.
2.
SD card test: If SD card is not inserted, a "No SD card!" prompt is displayed. Press
Volume-
to go to the next test item.
3.
Keyboard test: Press the keyboard test key according to the screen prompt and then press
Volume-
to go to the next test item.
4.
LCD display test: The test items include: blank screen, red green blue, LCD backlight,
and LED light. Press
Volume-
to go to the next test item. Check whether the display is
normal during the test.
5.
Keyboard LED test: Check whether the keyboard light flashes.
6.
Camera test: Check whether the preview is normal and press
to test whether
the camera flash works normally.
7.
Touch panel test: Touch black point areas according to the screen prompt.
8.
Proximity light test: Shield the proximity light window to check whether the screen
display changes. If the answer is displayed during the call, the environmental light
displays a luminous intensity value.
9.
Motor vibration test: Check whether the motor vibrates and has noises.
10.
SPK external play test: Check whether the sound playback is normal.
11.
Handset loopback test: Record and play according to the screen prompt. Check whether
sound playback is normal.
12.
Secondary microphone loopback test: Record and play as prompted. Check whether
sound playback is normal.
13.
Secondary microphone loopback test: Record and play as prompted. Check whether
sound playback is normal.
14.
Microphone loopback test: Record and play as prompted. Check whether recording and
playback is normal.
15.
FM test: Insert the headset and perform operations according to the screen prompt.
16.
Handset wire control test: Insert and pull out the headset and MIC switch to check
whether the test is normal.
17.
Bluetooth test: Enable other Bluetooth devices to check whether the signal can be found.
18.
Gravity induction test: Adjust the handset direction to ensure the data of each induction
axis can be tested.
19.
Compass test: Conduct this test during the gravity induction test.
20.
Wi-Fi test: Check whether Wi-Fi information is available.
21.
Display test results: Test failure items are displayed. Select failed items for another test
separately.
