6.8 Managing the Address Book
The address book stores site information. You can add, edit, and delete site entries.
The address book saves time because you do not need to enter site information to initiate a
conference and prevents entry of incorrect IP addresses.
You can save sites listed in the conference history to the address book. To do so, choose
Advanced
>
Address Book
>
Conference History
and select
next to the desired sites.
6.8.1 Configuring the Network Address Book
A network address book stores the addresses of the sites in the videoconferencing system. You
can download a network address book to update the entries in the local address book in
batches.
Network address books can be stored on:
File Transfer Protocol over SSL (FTPS) or File Transfer Protocol (FTP) server
LDAP server
