Chapter 7 Optional Interface Modules
7.1 1000Base-SX/LX Module
Caution:
1) In the case that the optical interface does not connect with an optical connector or the dust-proof cap
is removed, it is possible for invisible rays to emit from this optical interface. Therefore, do not stare at
the optical interface
2) If no optical connector is installed in the optical interface, make sure a dust-proof cap is placed on it.
3) Before connecting the optical fiber, make sure the connector matches the adopted optical fiber.
1000Base-SX module provides one GE Multi-mode optical interface.
1000Base-LX module provides one GE Single Mode optical interface.
1000Base-SX/LX module supports GE full duplex mode.

LINK
Off means that the line is disconnected. On means the line is connected.
ACTIVE
Off means that no data is being received or sent. Blinking means data is being received or sent.
