Step 2
Press the two arrow indicators on the inner liner, lift the inner liner, and put it aside. Use a
Philips screwdriver to remove three black screws and put them aside for future use. Rotate the
lower cover clockwise for about five degrees and remove the lower cover, as shown in Figure
6-3.

Step 3
Stick the positioning label delivered with the IPC at the installation position of the dome.
NOTE
If the IPC is installed on the ceiling, the cable may be led out from the side or top of the IPC. You can
select an installation mode based on the site requirements:
If the top cabling mode is used, drill a hole with a diameter of 30 mm based on the position of the
gap on the positioning label. (It is more complex to route cables out from the top than to route them
out from the side.)
If it is difficult to drill a hole on the ceiling or roof, use the side cabling mode. In this case, align the
gap on the positioning label with the cabling direction and use the JY-F plug wrench to remove the
plug on one side of the lower cover to facilitate cabling.
Step 4
Use a drill bit with a diameter of 5.5 mm to drill three holes at the positions marked with "A"
on the positioning label. Each hole is 40 mm deep. Use a hammer or a hard object to drive
three white expansion particles into the drilled holes, as shown in Figure 6-4. Ensure that the
expansion particles do not project out of the ceiling.
