3.1 Installing a Lens

This topic describes how to install a lens.



Do not install an IPC in an environment with relative humidity over 95% or
temperature higher than +55º

C or lower than –10º



Install the IPC horizontally in a well-ventilated area.



Install the device horizontally in a vibration-proof environment.

Installing the Manual Zoom Lens (Automatic Aperture)

Step 1

(Optional) Remove the protective cover and clockwise screw the C/CS adapter ring
into the lens interface, as shown in Figure 3-1.

A C/CS adapter ring is necessary only when you use a C-mount lens.
