7. Install the FE/GE cable
8. Install the CPRI optical cable.

2. Turn outwards the puller on the optical module.
1. Insert the optical module into the CPRI0, CPRI1,
CPRI2, CPRI3, CPRI4 or CPRI5 port.
3. Remove the dustproof caps from the
optical connectors.
4. Insert the optical connector at one end of the CPRI optical cable into the optical module.
Lead the CPRI optical cable out of the cabinet along the left side of the cabinet.
The shielded straight-through cable
must be used as the FE/GE Ethernet
cable.
Insert the DLC connectors labeled 2A and 2B at one end of the CPRI optical cable into the
optical module on the GTMU, and then insert the DLC connectors labeled 1A and 1B at
the other end into the optical module on the RRU.
If both ends of the optical cable are the LC
connectors, the TX and RX ports on the BBU
are respectively connected to the TX and RX
ports on the RRU.
The single-mode optical module is labeled "SM"
and multi-mode optical module is labeled "MM“.
If the puller of an optical module is blue, the
module is a single-mode optical module. If the
puller of an optical module is black or grey, the
module is a multi-mode optical module.
(FE/GE transmission mode).
