6.4 Configuring Port Security

This section describes how to configure the port security function.

6.4.1 Establishing the Configuration Task

Applicable Environment

The port security function can prevent hosts with untrusted MAC addresses from connecting to
an interface of the AR3200. This function is applicable to networks that require high access
security.

Pre-configuration Tasks

None.
