This section describes the frequently asked questions about the router.
Why Is the Power Supply Indicator Off?
The possible causes are as follows:
l
The router is powered off.
l
The power supply is powered off.
l
The power cable is connected incorrectly.
l
The power supply does not adapt to the router.
How Do I Restore Factory Settings?
Hold the RESET button for more than 5s.
CAUTION
The user-defined configurations will be lost when you restore factory settings.
What Are the Default Configurations?
The default configurations are as follows:
l
The management IP address is 192.168.1.1/24, which is allocated to VLANIF 1. All LAN
ports belong to VLAN 1.
l
A super administrator is provided, which is a level-3 user with the user name and password
as
admin
. You can log in as the
admin
user using Telnet.
What Can I Do If I Forget the User Name or Password?
Perform one of the following operations:
l
Restore factory settings. The default user name and password are
admin
. The user-defined
configurations will be lost when factory settings are restored.
