Check and cleaning of belt
1. Place the handle in the upright position and tip the machine back, in the same
way as when changing tools, see Access to grinding tools, page
15
.
2. Unscrew the inspection cover on the underneath of the grinding head so the belt
is visible and can be checked, see Figure 5-1, page
31

3. Check if the belt and the space in which it sits is dusty or otherwise dirty. If the
belt is subjected to too much dust, there is a risk that it will slip and wear out
faster. Clean the belt and the space around it thoroughly by vacuum cleaning
away any dust and other dirt.
4. Rotate the grinding holder slowly and at the same time check the belt's condition
by inspecting it visually. Continue until you have inspected the entire belt.
