5.3.1.2 Menu “Measure settings”
In this section (see Fig. 22), it is possible to define the type of measurement, the values of
the compensation parameters and the settings of the alarm conditions. Touch the screen
to activate/deactivate the desired options.

Thermometer section
In this section it is possible to define the following temperature measuring modes:
Normal mode
the instrument measures the surface temperature of any object
(according to its emissivity) in the range:
-20°C ÷ 150°C / 0°C ÷ 650°C
with accuracy
±2°C/±2%reading
Screening mode
the instrument measures the temperature of
parts of the human
body
in the range:
32.0°C ÷ 42.0°C
with accuracy ±0.5°C. This mode is also used to
evaluate whether a person has a fever or not (see § 5.8).
1. Touch the item “Thermometer”. The screen in Fig. 23 – right side appears on the
display:

2. Touch one of the options “Normal mode” or “Screening Mode” and the arrow key “ ” to
quit and confirm setting.
