1 Proper use, warranty
The guillotine is to be used exclusively for
cutting paper,
fi lm and other soft materials.
The warranty period for the guillotine is
2 years. This warranty exclude wear and
damage caused by improper handling or ac-
tions taken by third parties.

Before using the guillotine for the
fi rst time, read the operating man-
ual, and keep it for later use and to
pass on to any subsequent users.

Dangerous for children and
others!
The guillotine may not be used by
persons (including children under
14 years of age) with limited physi-
cal, sensory or mental capabilities
or with a lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they are supervised by
a responsible person or are instructed by
them on the use of the guillotine. Children
must be supervised to ensure they do not
play with the device.
WARNING
The blade is sharp and can
cause injury.
Do not touch the blade.
– Do not remove the safety guard.
– Replace any defective or damaged parts
immediately with original spare parts.
– Always place the guillotine on a fl at, sta-
ble surface.
– If you move the guillotine, hold it by the
base and fasten the blade so that it can-
not move.
– If the material is unsuitable for cutting or
exceeds the cutting height, it may dam-
age the blade.
– Only one person may operate the guillo-
tine at a time.
– Never leave the blade up after use.
– The operator must check regularly that
friction elements are in good working
condition. If the knife does not stay in its
top position, please contact the supplier’s
customer service.
