Remove the communication board
Prerequisites
• Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have a No. 2 Phillips screwdriver available.
• Before installing the hardware option, make sure that you understand the following warning and cautions.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the drives and the internal system
components to cool before touching them.
CAUTION:
To prevent damage to electrical components, properly ground the server before beginning any
installation procedure. Improper grounding can cause ESD.
CAUTION:
To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server with the access panel
and the M.2 SSD compartment cover open or removed.
Procedure
1.
Remove the RJ-45 port bracket.
Retain the screws for later use.
