Remove the fan modules and the fan blank:
a.
Disconnect the fan 1 cable from the connector.
b.
Remove fan 1.
c.
Disconnect the fan 2 cable from the connector.
d.
Remove fan 2.
e.
Remove the fan blank.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Hot-plug drive blank
CAUTION:
To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server
unless all bays are populated with either a component or a blank.
To remove the component:
1.
Remove the front bezel (on page
