Memory
The system has two DIMM slots that support up to 8 GB maximum system memory (4 GB in each of
the two DIMM slots).
Memory Configuration
Memory installation guidelines
Observe the following important guidelines when installing memory modules:
•
Use only HP supported
unbuffered ECC DDRIII DIMM in 1 GB, 2 GB or 4GB capacities (Up to
800 MHz).
•
All DIMMs installed must be of the same speed.
•
DIMMs can be damaged by improper handling. Always use an anti-static wrist strap and
grounding mat, and discharge static electricity before touching DIMMs.
