5. Disconnect all cables from the media board.
6. Remove the media board.
7. Loosen the screw, and slide the USB cable connector up to remove the cable
assembly from the server.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
Power switch cable assembly
1. Power down the server ("Powering down the server" on page 37 ).
2. Extend the server from the rack ("Extending the server from the rack" on
page
38 ).
3. Remove the access panel ("Removing the access panel" on page 40 ).
4. Remove the front bezel.
5. Disconnect all cables from the media board.
6. Remove the media board.
7. Remove the USB cable assembly.
8. Insert a flat screwdriver into the power switch cable housing next to the
middle two LEDs and pry the housing from the chassis.
