NOTE:
The touchpad cable is available in the Cable Kit, spare part number M03431-001.
Before removing the touchpad, follow these steps:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (

2.
Remove the bottom cover (
).
3.
Remove the battery (see
).
Remove the touchpad:
1.
Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector on the touchpad (1).
2.
Lift the protective shielding from the top of the touchpad (2).
3.
Remove the four Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screws (3) that secure the touchpad to the computer.
4.
Remove the Phillips M1.6 × 2.0 screw (4) that secures the touchpad to the computer.
5.
Remove the touchpad from the computer (5).
Reverse this procedure to install the touchpad.
Solid-state drive
To remove the M.2 solid-state drive, use this procedure and illustration.
