Remove the fingerprint sensor:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (1) that secures the fingerprint reader bracket to the computer,
and then remove the bracket (2).
2. Remove the fingerprint reader sensor from the computer (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the fingerprint sensor.
Power connector cable
To remove the power connector cable, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly ( Preparation for disassembly on page 29 ).
2. Remove the bottom cover ( Bottom cover on page 29 ).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 30 ).
4. Remove the fan (see Fan on page 41 ).
5. Remove the system board (see System board on page 45 ).
6. Remove the display (see Display assembly on page 43 ).
Remove the power connector cable:
▲ Lift the power connector cable from the computer.
