Each device (PD) that is connected to the PSE ethernet ports will have a PD class. This will
limit the number of devices powered thru the PSE Ethernet ports 1 and 2.
The NJ2000 can power:
One class 0 or 3 PD or
Two class 2 PD’s
Two class 1 PD’s or
One class 1 PD and One class 2 PD.
Switch Power Status
Displays the Power over Ethernet parameters for the switch.
Power Consumed
– Displays the percentage of power budget (15.4W) being
drawn by attached devices.
Port
– The port number.
PoE Enabled
– The administrative status of PoE power on the port.
Delivering Power
– The current operating status of PoE power on the port.
Current
– The current power consumption on the port.
Priority
– The port’s configured power priority setting. (Range: Low, High;
Default: Port 1 as High, Port 2 as Low)
PD Class
– The current power device class on the port.
There are three main buttons associated with this page:
HELP
- Displays this window.
APPLY
- Updates the switch configuration. No changes are made to the
configuration until this button is pressed.
REFRESH
- Resends the information.
