Inband SCSI-3 commands
The HP N1200-320 4Gb Network Storage Router supports a set of SCSI-3 commands that can be
received inband over FCP. When received by the network storage router, these commands are then
executed by the network storage router itself.
When using SCSI-3 commands to access general management features, the commands can be sent to
device LUNs that are mapped through the network storage router.
The following is a list of the SCSI-3 commands that are supported by the network storage router. Complete
definitions of SCSI-3 commands can be found in the SCSI-3 standard available from the American
National Standards Institute (ANSI).

General commands
Following is a description of a general-use SCSI-3 command. For more information about the other
general-use commands, please contact your service representative.
Report LUNs command
The network storage router supports the Report LUNs command. The Report LUNs command will return a
list of Logical Unit Numbers (LUNs) that can receive commands. The format of the report LUNs command
is shown in
Table 11
.
