When replacing the system board, be sure that the following components are removed from the
defective system board and installed on the replacement system board:

Remove the system board:
1.
Position the computer right-side up, with the front toward you.
2.
Lift the Touchpad connector latch

and disconnect the Touchpad cable
(2)
.
3.
Lift the fingerprint reader connector latch
(3)
and disconnect the fingerprint reader cable
(4)
.
4.
Disconnect the power connector cable
(5)
.
5.
Remove the display cable from the rubber routing path mounted on the computer
