Install the Performance Verification Software
Onto a Hard Disk
The Performance Verification Software (p/n 85325-60001) is not shipped
with the HP 85325A or the HP 85326A; however, this software can be
ordered through your local sales and service office. See the Service and
Support listing on page -viii in the front of the manual.
The current verification software requires specialized equipment that is not
commonly available. YOur local HP service office can obtain the proper
equipment. For this reason performance verification needs to be performed
by a qualifies HP customer engineer.
NOTE

indicate a front-panel key or computer keyboard.

indicate a display softkey selection.
This procedure will load the performance verification software onto a hard
disk. This procedure will take approximately 2 hours to complete.
Copy Onto a Hard
Disk
1. Insert the System Implementation disk into your floppy disk drive.
2. You must set the mass storage address to that floppy disk drive:
For example type:
MSI “:,700,1”
and press
Return
3. Type
LOAD “HFS_COPY”
and press
Return
4. Press the
{RUN}
softkey or type
Run'
and press
Return
.
5. When prompted with,
ENTER DESTINATION MASS STORAGE ADDRESS?,
enter the appropriate address and press
Return.
If applicable, press
Return
to select the default address of
:,700,0
,
6. When prompted with,
OVERWRITE OLD FILES?,
press
Return
.
NOTE
Unless otherwise specified this program will overwrite duplicate files.
7. The program will ask you to insert each floppy disk of the Performance
Verification Software. When prompted, insert the appropriate disk, and
press
{Continue}
.
8. When all disks have been copied the computer will display:
HFS_COPY
routine is completed
. Press
{Continue}
to exit the program.
