Introduction
This do cumen t is in tended for use with the HP 8510B/C Option 008 Net w ork Analyzer
and is a supplemen t to the HP 8510B/C Op erating and Programming man ual. It con tains
descriptions of the pulsed-RF net w ork analyzer system features for measuremen ts in the
frequency domain and in the pulse prole domain. With resp ect to the standard, sw ept CW
system, op eration of the pulsed-RF system is iden tical except that the measuremen t is made
at a sp ecic, kno wn time during eac h pulse. F or information ab out net w ork analysis, please
refer to HP Pro duct Note 8510-10, HP 8510B In tro ductory User's Guide, for an in tro duction
to using the fron t panel for measuremen t setup, measuremen t calibration, and basic net w ork
measuremen ts.
