14. Power up the server .
15. If removed, install the security bezel .
Installing a FlexibleLOM riser cage assembly
For more information on the riser board slot specifications, see " PCIe riser board slot definitions ."
For more information about the integrated storage controller and its features, select the relevant user
documentation on the
Hewlett Packard Enterprise website .
Procedure
1. If installed, remove the security bezel .
2. Power down the server .
3. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Do one of the following:
• Extend the server from the rack .
• Remove the server from the rack .
5. Remove the access panel .
6. Remove the existing PCI riser cage .
7. Using a T-10 screwdriver, remove the blank from the FlexibleLOM slot of the riser cage.
8. Install the FlexibleLOM adapter:
a. Firmly seat the FlexibleLOM adapter in the slot.
b. Secure the FlexibleLOM adapter with a T-10 screw.
9. Install the PCI riser cage .
