A manual switch (on some models) is located on the

Do
the Oven Thermostat
If you don’t think the oven is heating at the right
temperature when you are baking or roasting, you
can reset the thermostat yourself.
When cooking food for the first time in your new
use time given on recipes as a guide. Oven
thermostats, over a period of years, may “drift” from
factory setting and the differences in timing
between an
and a new oven of 5 to 10 minutes are
not unusual. Your oven has been set correctly at the
factory and is more likely to be accurate than the oven
which it replaced.
We do not recommend the use of inexpensive
thermometers, such as those found in the grocery
to check the temperature setting of your new
oven. These thermometers can vary by
degrees.
To decide how much to change the temperature,

Pull knob off shaft. Look at back of knob and note
current setting before making any adjustment.
To make an adjustment, carefully

move the pointer one “click” from the original setting.
If you would like the actual
oven temperature (at any
setting) to be approximately
hotter, move the pointer
clockwise in the “HOTTER”
direction.

After making the adjustment,
