I. Removal and Replacement of Control Board
1) Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
) Remove the front panel.
3) Remove the control box cover.
4) Unhook all wiring connections to the control board.
5) Remove the control board by carefully squeezing the tips of the board mounts.
6) Identify the board revision of the new control board. This will be marked on the micro-
controller chip label as shown in the diagram below.
7) Rev. 11 or lower control boards will work only with the round light switches (4A0487-01).
These switches are on front of the cabinet behind the doors.
8) Rev. 1 and higher will work on both round and square door switches. For round
switches, dip switch #3 must be flipped on. For square switches, leave the dip switch off.
9) Verify dip switches are set correctly. See the unit's wiring label for settings.
10) Replace the board in the control box taking care not to damage it.
11) Hook all wiring connections back to the control board.
1) Replace all panels.
13) Plug the unit back in.
