Pneumatic system
The pneumatic system consists of:
•
Hopper
•
Fan
•
2 metering units with fall sluice or double fall
sluice
•
1 metering unit / 1 metering auger (option)
•
Hose assembly and feed pipes.
This allows placing seed, fertiliser or seed and
fertiliser ( G & F) simultaneously.
WARNING
The pneumatic system components may come
into contact with dressed seed and fertiliser.
Risk from hazardous dust (fertiliser, dressing).

Always wear suitable protective clothing
(safety goggles, respiratory masks, protective
gloves) for cleaning and maintenance work.
Avoid contact with escaping air.
¾
Observe the safety notes and safety data
sheets of the seed or dressing manufacturer.
WARNING
Accidental hydraulic movements (e.g. caused
by passengers or children) can lead to severe
accidents and injuries!
¾
Secure or lock the control units on the tractor.
¾
Instruct persons to leave the slewing range of
foldable machine parts.
¾
Switch all control units to the locked position
before switching on the tractor again.
Hopper
Platform
A folding platform is provided for access to the
hopper:

NOTE

Lower the machine to the ground or park it
before accessing the platform, see chapter
Parking.
¾
Fold the platform down to use it.
¾
Fold the platform up after using it. Engage the
indexing bolt on the borehole (1).
Opening and closing hoppers
WARNING
Risk of crushing when opening and closing the
hopper lid.
¾
Do not let your hand or fingers get caught
between lid and hopper.
