Side gearbox
1. Run the engine a few minutes to warm up
the oil.
2.
Switch off the machine and pull out the igni
-
tion key.
3. Lower the machine with the tractor link arms
to the ground.
4. Extend the upper link to tilt the machine to
the rear (approx. 5°).
5. Place a suitable container under the drain
plug (1).
6.
Unscrew the oil filler plug (2) together with
the seal ring.
7. Open the drain plug (1) with the seal ring and
drain the entire oil.
8. Place the machine horizontally.
9. Replace drain plug and sealing ring if neces-
sary.
10. Clean the drain plug and tighten with seal
ring.
11. Place the machine horizontally by shorten-
ing the upper link.
12.
Fill in the stipulated filling quantity via the
filler opening (2).
13.
Replace filler plug and sealing ring if nec
-
essary.
14.
Clean the filler plug and tighten with seal
ring.
15. Dispose of old oil environmentally.
Oil change

First oil change after 10 operating hours, then
every 100 hours.
Specification
The gearboxes are filled with oil grade 80W90
for mechanical gearboxes of specification API
GL5 (EP = extreme pressure).
Oils that can be used for the oil change:
Normal use

Intensive use

Synthetic oil type PAO (Polyalphaolefin)
