The packer roller meets the following functions:

Trapezoid Ring Packer
The Trapezoid Ring Packer enables the targeted
strip-shaped consolidation in front of each coul-
ter. Forming of the seed furrow works also under
difficult and binding conditions.
Adjusting the scrapers
WARNING
Risk of injury through starting power harrow on
the folded machine.

Deactivate the PTO-shaft or switch off the
tractor before performing any work on the
machine and secure against restart. Pull out
the ignition key.

Fold the machine, see
Folding.
¾
Adjust the scrapers as close to the packer
roller as possible.
The scrapers must not touch the packer roller
at any point. Rotate the packer roller by 360°
to check.
¾
To adjust the scrapers loosen the screw,
displace it in the slot and tighten it again.
¾
Adjust all scrapers uniformly.
¾
If present: The wear guard (welding) must
point down. The smooth side points up:
