Support the raised machine by appropriate
means.

Do not work under the raised machine if it has
not been properly secured.

Severe injuries caused by being pulled in by
the rotor.
Before any work with the machine
¾
disable the PTO-shaft on the tractor
¾
pull out the ignition key
¾
wait until all moving parts have come to a stop
¾
apply the parking brake.
The tines are arranged and fastened in pairs
on a rotor.
The following variants are available:
•
Standard tines
•
HM tines (reinforce hard metal)
•
Tines on handle
The use of excessively worn tines can cause
premature wear of tine carriers, rotors and the
gearbox pan.
The tines must be replaced when worn (150 mm)
or visibly damaged/deformed.

Check the tines regularly for cleanliness.
Remove residues, cords , wire, etc.
Changing tines
NOTE
¾
Replace the tines in due time to ensure uni-
form work quality and to avoid wear on the
tool carrier.
¾
In case of damage or after 2 - 3 tine changes
replace also the special cotter pin!
¾
Use only original spare parts from HORSCH!
¾
Lift the machine.
¾
Support the machine with appropriate means.
