2. Operation Procedure
2-2 Top and Side Stitching Operations
WARNING
Keep your hands and fingers off the
inside of safety cover and any parts
while machine is in operation.
When performing top or side stitching opera-
tion, stitch or stitches are normally made
near top or side edge of sheets to be run.
Refer to the operation procedures “2-1 Stitch-
ing and Folding Operation ”(page 14) for
general information.
(1) Loosen delivery smoother locking nut and
turn over delivery smoother from bottom
side to top so that end stopper is set as
close to stitching position as possible.
(2) Turn knife stopper adjusting knob fully
counterclockwise and then turn stopper
ON/OFF knob to “OFF” position, and
fasten stopper adjusting knob locking
lever.
(3) Install delivery conveyor unit at the lower
operating position. Booklets will be deliv-
ered out from lower exit without being
folded.
