PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

Verishield - VS 332i

The VeriShield VS 332i headset is an in-the-ear hearing protector with built-in personal sound 

exposure monitoring, hear through and Bluetooth for connecting to Bluetooth enabled devices, such 

as a mobile phone and communication radios. The headset combines a high level of noise reduction 

with sound amplification to allow workers to be aware of their surroundings, hear warning signals 

and alerts while still being protected.

 Headset shall be used for protection from noise, intended use 

of headset is solely for hearing protection and shall not be used for any other purpose.

The wearer should check correct operation before use. If failure is detected, the wearer should 

stop using the product and refer to Honeywell’s advice for maintenance, power management and 

charging.
Following features are available in the headset:

- Calibration of the dose microphones
- Fit Test, to evaluate the attenuation performance 
- Dose, pick up and measurement of personal noise exposure.
- Bluetooth for connection to mobile phones and communication radios.
- Firmware upgrade

(A) CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS

1. 

Open the rubber lid covering the USB-C charging port - see section A.

2. 

Plug the charger into an USB-C outlet on the neckband - see section A.

3. 

Keep following temperature range during whole charging cycle: 0°C to 40°C/ 32°F to 104°F

WARNING! 

Performance may deteriorate with battery usage. Battery lifetime will depend on 

temperature and activated modes. Typical expected period of continuous use: Only hear-through 

active - approximately xx hours. Bluetooth active - approximately xx hours.

(B) WEARING INSTRUCTIONS

1. 

Chose an eartip of the correct size. Compress the foam by rolling it into a small crease-free 

cylinder.

2. 

Fit the eartip to the earpiece. Make sure the tip fully covers the pipes.

3. 

Reach around your head and gently pull the ear to straighten the ear canal.

4. 

Push the eartip into the ear canal while gently twisting the earpiece. There is a difference between 

the left and the right hand side earpieces. A marking on the earpiece and cable will show you 

which earpiece is made for which ear.

5. 

Keep the eartip in place until the foam has started to expand, about 5-10 seconds. 

6. 

The earpiece shall be inserted well into the bowl of the ear. 

7. 

Fit the cable behind your neck. Use the slider to make sure the cable is secured in a way so that it 

does not get caught up during use.

IMPORTANT USER INFORMATION

1. 

The eartips should be fitted, adjusted and maintained in accordance with the instructions.

2. 

The eartips should be worn at all times in noisy  surroundings

3. 

The eartips should be regularly inspected for serviceability.

4. 

Clean the unit using a moist cloth. Do not use solvents or other chemicals as they may harm the 

unit. Do not use sharp object on any parts of the unit or its accessories. Gently tap the earpieces 

to dislodge dirt and foreign objects

5. 

Always fit the earpiece with eartips. Tips mounted to the transducer housing will protect the 

sound ports/pipes and prevent them from being filled with dirt or water. Dirt or water in the sound 

tubes will affect the system performance and may cause permanent damage to the equipment.

6. 

Before and after use, store in a dry, cool place. The temperature should not 50°C.

7. 

This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information 

should be sought from the manufacturer.

8. 

OBSOLENCE: All Honeywell thermoplastic hearing protection products will remain in good 

condition with regard to shelf life while the product is stored in a warehouse under controlled 

conditions. For Headset: Humidity less than 80%, Temperature 0°C to 50°C.
