Installation, maintenance and repair work should only be entrusted to authorised skil-
led personnel.
The mains power supply should be deactivated prior to removing the intermediate co-
ver.
Connection work within the entire system should only be carried out when the system is
de-energised.
Connection terminals should be protected with the intermediate cover
prior to activating the power supply (operating voltage).
VDE safety instructions and instructions of local electricity suppliers should be heeded.
The unit should not be used in areas where there is a risk of explosion or rooms where
vapours are present which attack metals or plastics.
The number sequence entered via the unit keypad is compared with the up to 4 saved valid codes in
the door code unit. The door strike relay energises for the time period (door release time) programmed
for the unit if a valid code already exists. A door strike is actuated via the relay which releases the door.
The relay is de-energised after the door release time expires, and the door is subsequently locked
again.
If a
is used, activating this contact when the door is closed
automatically leads to an interruption of a currently-active unlocking time period. The door is there-
fore locked again immediately after closing.
In addition, the door can be released by an external door strike key.
The door can be opened at any time from inside with the door handle.
