MAXIMUM SPEED ADJUSTMENT
Remove the fuel tank (page 6-3).
Loosen the 6 mm nut (1) of the governor arm.
Turn the governor arm (2) counterclockwise to fully
open the carburetor throttle valve (3).
Rotate the governor arm shaft (4) as far as it will go in
the same direction the governor arm moved to open the
throttle valve.
Tighten the 6 mm nut securely.
Install the fuel tank (page 6-3).
Start the engine and allow it to warm up to normal
operating temperature.
Make sure the pump is full of water when the engine is
started.
Move the control lever (5) to the FAST position.
Run the engine at the specified maximum speed, and
hold the control lever.
Turn the 5 x 32 mm screw (6) of the control to obtain the
specified maximum speed.
