Shifting Gears
Shift mode (D/N/R) select
Two gearshift switches are located next to the left handlebar grip:
Upshift ( ) and downshift ( ).
To select the shift mode, bring the ATV to complete stop, confirm the
transmission is in neutral and press the shift switch to select shift mode.
To select drive shift mode (D), press the upshift switch (1) once.
• When you select automatic shift (AUTO) mode with the drive
mode select switch, the gear position indicator shows “D”.
• When you select manual shift (ESP) mode with the drive mode select
switch, the gear position indicator shows the selected position.
To select reverse shift (R), use the reverse selector knob and press the
down shift switch (2) once.
