5. Remove the spark plug using the
spark plug wrench, box wrench and
the Phillips
screwdriver
(accessories).
6. Inspect the spark plugs. Replace
them if the electrodes are worn, or
if the insulators are cracked or
chipped.
7. Measure the spark plug electrode
gap with a wire-type feeler gauge.
Correct the gap, if necessary, by
carefully bending the side
electrode.
The gap should be:
0.031 – 0.035 in (0.8 – 0.9 mm)
