Inspecting and Changing Fuses
1.
Turn the ignition switch to LOCK
(

. Turn
headlights and all accessories off.
2.
Open the cover on the battery
+
terminal.
3.
Check the fuse in the engine compartment
fuse box B.

If the fuse is blown, have it replace by a
dealer.
4.
Open the fuse box cover in the engine
compartment fuse box A.
5.
Check the large fuse in the engine
compartment fuse box A.

If the fuse is blown, use a Phillips-head
screwdriver to remove the screw and
replace it with a new one.
6.
Inspect the small fuses in the engine
compartment fuse box A and the vehicle
interior.

If there is a blown fuse, remove it with
the fuse puller and replace it with a new
one.
*1 : Models with the keyless access system have an
ENGINE
START/STOP
button instead of an ignition switch.

Inspecting and Changing Fuses
NOTICE
Replacing a fuse with one that has a higher rating
greatly increases the chances of damaging the
electrical system.
Replace fuse with a spare fuse of the same specified
amperage.
Use the charts to locate the fuse in question and
confirm the specified amperage.
