4. The cuff will then begin deflating as measurement continues.
NOTE that the cuff is automatically re-inflated if the device determines that
the body requires higher pressure to complete the measurement.
5. When the measurement is completed, the cuff automatically deflates and the
display will show the systolic pressure, the diastolic pressure, and the pulse.
The measurement is simultaneously stored in the monitor’s memory.
6. The device automatically switches off approximately 1 minute after use but
can also be switched off manually by pressing START/STOP.
7. If necessary, a measurement can be interrupted by pressing START/STOP
(recommended) or any other button on the device. The cuff will subsequently
deflate immediately.

User 1: Shows that the device is employed by user 1.
User 2: Shows that the device is employed by user 2.
Low battery symbol. Shows on the display when a change of battery
is required.
Pulse symbol. Shows pulse beats per minute.
IHB
Heart arrhythmia (heart rhythm disturbance): Indicated that arrhythmia has
been established. Read more about this in the section “Establishing
arrhythmia (heart rhythm disturbances)”.
AVG. 3
Memory - average measurements. Shows the average of the 3 most
recent measurements.
Risk category indicator: Compares measurements with the different
blood pressure categories. Read more about this in the section “
Risk
category indicator
”.
